Lachung

Lachung is a small village and base for exploring Yumthang Valley, known as the Valley of Flowers.

Namchi

Known for the large statue of Guru Padmasambhava at Samdruptse Hill and the Char Dham complex. Namchi also offers views of tea gardens and the surrounding hills.

Nathula Pass

A high-altitude mountain pass on the Indo-China border, accessible from Gangtok. The pass requires a permit to visit and offers views of rugged terrain and mountains.

Pelling

Known for panoramic views of Mount Kanchenjunga, waterfalls, and ancient monasteries. Pelling also has the Pemayangtse Monastery and the scenic Khecheopalri Lake.

Ravangla

A small town with a large Buddha Park featuring a giant statue of Buddha. Ravangla is surrounded by tea gardens, monasteries, and scenic views of the Eastern Himalayas.
