Agartala

Jampui Hills

Known as the “Land of Eternal Spring,” these hills are popular for their scenic landscapes, orange orchards, and panoramic views of both Tripura and Mizoram.

Kailashahar

A historic town near Unakoti, known for its temples and connection to ancient Tripura royalty. The region offers a look into the state’s history and culture.

Neermahal

Located in the middle of the Rudrasagar Lake, this lake palace is an architectural marvel. Built as a summer retreat for the royal family, it offers a blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture.

Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary

Located near Agartala, this sanctuary is home to the endangered spectacled langur and a variety of bird species. It also has a lake, a botanical garden, and a mini zoo.

Tripura Sundari Temple

Located in Udaipur, this is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and is dedicated to Goddess Tripura Sundari. The temple attracts many pilgrims and is known for its beautiful architecture and serene surroundings.

Udaipur

Often called the “City of Lakes,” Udaipur has several temples and lakes. Besides the Tripura Sundari Temple, other attractions include the Bhuvaneswari Temple and various lakes like Kalyan Sagar Lake.

Unakoti

An ancient site famous for rock carvings and stone images. This pilgrimage site, dating back to the 7th-9th centuries, features giant bas-relief sculptures of Hindu deities, making it a unique historical spot.
